Corpus Christi-Velma Iris Molina, 58 years of age passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Corpus Christi after a short illness. She was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School Class of 1979. Velma worked for Goodwill Industries for many years. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father Teofilo Molina, Jr. She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Molina and Mark (Sarah) Molina, one daughter, Leticia Almaguer, her mother, Lydia P. Molina, one brother, Teofilo Molina III all of Corpus Christi, Texas, four sisters, Alva (Roman) Alaniz of Rosenberg, Texas, Nora (Rodolfo) Olivares, Irma Molina and Lisa (Davie Castro) Molina all of Corpus Christi, Texas, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Mark Molina, Matthew Molina, Roman Alaniz, Jr., Rudy Olivares, Jr., Roman Alaniz, III., Davie Castro, Rudy Olivares, III., Robert Trevino. Honorary Pallbearers: Tommy Molina, Julian Almaguer. Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. the same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.

Lo siento much por su pérdida. Que Dios les de las fuerzas para aguantar estar gran pena. El nos promete que, “ viene la hora en que todos los que están en las tumbas conmemorativas oirán su voz y saldrán a una resurrección de vida”.
