Sylvia A. Gutierrez

Ben Bolt, Texas.  Sylvia A. Gutierrez 75 years of age passed away on July 11, 2018 at Kleberg County Nursing and Rehabilitation after a long illness. She was a graduate of Alice High School and Texas A.& I. University Kingsville. She retired after more than 20 years of service with the San Diego Ind. School District. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt.  She is preceded in death by her parents Zenon S. Soliz and Elida Everett Soliz and her brother Zenon E. Soliz. She is survived by her son David H. Gutierrez of Austin, one sister Judith S. (Antonio) Arredondo of Hebbronville, and several nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral      Home-San Diego with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday July 16, 2018 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church and burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements.
