Servando Sanchez

San Diego, Texas  Servando Sanchez 88 years old passed away on January 27, 2020 at his residence in San Diego. Servando was a Construction  worker all his life. He was a loving husband, Dad, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend to so many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents German and Maria Sanchez, two sons Arturo Sanchez and Servando Sanchez Jr., one daughter Virgie Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Juanita T. Sanchez of San Diego, five daughters Gloria (Raul) Rivera of Kansas, Irene (David) Gonzalez, Alicia (Ruben) Gonzalez, Norma (Ruben) Suarez, Belinda (Robert) Molina all of San Diego, one sister Lydia Sanchez of San Diego, 31 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 4p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church and burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery.
