Selfa Hinojosa

San Diego, Texas: Selfa Hinojosa 90 years of age passed away on December 21, 2017 in a San Antonio Residence and Rehabilitation Center.  Selfa was a beautician for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Filomeno and Maria Luisa Salinas, her husband, Octavio "Tavo" Hinojosa, one son, Joel Hinojosa, one sister, Celina Ramos, one brother Adan Benavides, and one grandson, Alex A. Amaya. She is survived by one son Jose Hector Barrera, four daughters Mary Lou Flores, Anna Morin, and Gloria ( Ramon) Garcia all of San Antonio, Texas, Melissa (Juan) Cerda of Laredo,Texas. 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4 pm - 9 pm at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary recited at 6:30 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church and burial will follow at the Bretania Ranch Cemetery in Duval County. Mauro P.
