San Juanita B. Gonzalez

Banquete, TX - San Juanita Bueno Gonzalez 71 years old, went home to be with the Lord on March 30th, 2024, surrounded by her family. San Juanita was born on February 28th of 1953 in Alice, Texas to Valentin Castulo and Victoria Bueno. San Juanita loved gardening, tending to her farm animals, and spending time with her grandkids. She was a woman of faith, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She took pride in family time, listening to Christian music, sewing, and lived a life of compassion and remarkable generosity. San Juanita was preceded in death by her father, her mother, brothers Jimmy, Valentin, Felipe Bueno, and her loving husband of 52 years, Juan Antonio Gonzalez Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children Joanna (Leroy) Espinoza, Richard (Monica) Gonzalez, Joe (Angie) Gonzalez, Patricia (Gilbert) Zapata, Juan (Liz) Gonzalez. Her siblings Guadalupe Garza, Roberto Bueno, MaryJane (Rigoberto) Gracia, Vidal (Alicia) Bueno, Federico (Jackie) Bueno, Victoria (Roel) Ochoa, Ramon (Lettie) Bueno, 24 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

As you rest in paradise, please know that you have left behind a legacy of love, simplicity and profound wisdom and strength. Thank you for always providing us with life lessons and love, we will cherish the memories forever.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home – Alice located 600 S. Wright Street Alice, TX 78332. A celebration of life will take place on April 5, 2024, at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home - Alice at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial services at 12:00 p.m. at Roberson - Collins Cemetery.
