San Diego, Texas - San Juana R. Huth, 89 years old passed away December 21, 2017 at her residence after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Luis G. Rivera and Tomasa Garcia Rivera, her husband Fernando E. Huth, Jr. and son Fernando Huth III, five brothers, Pedro G. Rivera, Luis G. Rivera, Jr., Ramon Rivera, Rafael P. Rivera, Sr., Jose Maria Rivera, four sisters Tomasa R. Ramos, Gregoria R. Manzanares, Rosa Elena R. Nunez and Julia R. Garcia. Survivors include her her son Juan Fernando (Marissa) Huth of Alice,Texas and her daughter Margarita H. "Margie" Vela of San Diego, Texas, one brother Juan G. Rivera of Alice, Texas, brother-in-law Francisco "Pancho" Nunez, Sr. of San Diego, Texas, Special Niece Elena N. Sanchez of San Diego, Texas, two grandchildren Andrew (Samantha) Vela of San Diego, Texas and Tiffany I. (Roman) Contreras of Alice, Texas, fifteen great-grandchildren, Eric Contreras, Roman Contreras, Andrew Vela, Jr., Allison Amor Contreras, Ayden Vela, Ray Contreras, Alexis Vela, Avery Contreras, Andrea Vela, Aaliyah Vela, Elizabeth Huth, Kevin Diaz, Jaelyn Rivera, Andres Hernandez and Messiah Hernandez, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery No.2  in San Diego, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.

To the family:
May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this difficult time in your lives. Those who are sleeping in death ( John 11:11) God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences.
