San Juana Luna

San Diego, Texas - San Juana Luna, 75 years old passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at a San Antonio hospital. She was a housewife. San Juana was a loving and feisty person who many people saw as a mother figure. While living at La Paloma Nursing Home she served as Vice-president and treasurer of the Facility Committee for two years. She is preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Manuela G. Salas, one granddaughter Priscilla Salas and son-in-law Rene Rivera. She is survived by her husband Salvador Luna, three sons Domingo (Irma) Salas, Jr., Salvador (Renay) Luna, Jr., and Luis Rene (Laura) Luna and daughter Belinda L. Rivera, one brother Juan Salas and two sisters Margarita (Antonio) Perez and Felipa (Esteban) Escutia, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

​Visitations will begin on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service. Burial at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego.
