I love you so much TIO. I am still in shock from the call. I wish you didn’t have to go. We need you here but we know god needed you more. Just wish we could’ve said goodbye. But for now it’ll be till I see you again. Everyone will keep a good eye on your boys especially Mel.

Their are not enough words to describe the pain and loss of such a great man. God gained not only an angel, but a true superhero. We all miss you dearly Ruben, and I thank God for blessing my husband, kids and myself with such an amazing father/ grandfather figure. You were the glue that held your “shamu “ together, and we promise to always look after her and the kids. Everyone questions, “why you?” But only God knows and now we know Ruben that you are resting peacefully in Heaven. I am a Cowboy fan for life, but will always think of you when the Cowboys are playing! The Everett family and name will forever be cherished in our hearts! Until we meet again Ruben !

Ruben Everett was known to many as a very loving caring family man and dedicated to his profession. Ruben made a difference to this area, a fine native son in Duval County that will be missed.
