Rosario Tanguma

​San Diego-Rosario Tanguma 59 years of age passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 after a short illness. She was a cook for the Alice Community Action for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and will be sadly missed by all.  Preceded in death by her parents Ramon Vela Jr. and Amanda G. Reyna. Survivors include her husband, Omar Tanguma, son Ernesto (Amanda) Aguilar, step-son, Omar (Vanessa) Tanguma Jr. daughter, Cristina (Jonathan) Stonebraker, step-daughters, Lisa Marie Tanguma, Genieve Gallegos, brother, Adrian (Grace) Vela, Rosendo (Angela) Reyna, Ramon (Gloria) Vela III, sisters, Georgia Maldonado, Ludivina Hernandez, Elena (Ramon) Vidal, Venessa (Joe) Pena, four grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday October 12, 2020 and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church and burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines. We ask to please wear a mask and social distance at the Funeral Home and Church.  Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
