Amargozo Community - Romeo Trejo Jr., 66 years old passed away on January 22, 2022, Romeo was born on May 14, 1955, to Romeo and Juaquina Trejo in San Diego, Texas. After graduating from Alice High School, in 1974 he went on to begin a career with South Texas Implement. He then went on to work for W.L. Flowers Machine shop where he worked for 30 years as an oil field machinist. He also worked as a foreman for Texas Rig Services of Alice for 10 years. In 1974 Romeo met the love of his life Emma and one year later they would marry and spend the next 46 years together and go on to have 3 children, Tasha, Cody and Quisto. Romeo was a force of nature determined to provide for his family and gave them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything in the world. Anyone who knew Romeo knew he was the most loving father and husband that a family could ask for. Romeo is preceded in death by his parents, Romeo Trejo Sr., and Juaquina “Kina” Trejo. He is survived by his wife Emma Trejo, daughters Tasha (Joe) Valdez, Cody (Gerado) Villarreal and his son Quisto Romeo Trejo, brothers, Raul Trejo, Roy Trejo, Rudy (Vanessa) Trejo, Adrian (Elena) Benavides, one sister Nora (Jerry) Contreras, Two grandchildren Madison Jo Valdez, Quisto Romeo Trejo Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 7 p.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements. Active Pallbearers: Lupe Garza, Rudy Trejo Jr., Jerry Contreras, Aaron Carranza, Mike Nunez, Ariel Salinas, Adan Gonzalez, and Jack Dunn. The family would like to thank Christus Spohn Shoreline CC ICU 3rd floor unit Haley, Kristen, Bethany, Katy, Rubertha, Betty and ICU 4th floor Aaron. Dear Emma and family . Our deepest condolences. Mr Trejo was a kind sweet man and we will never forget him. May he RIP as the lord welcomes him and walks with him to his new home. 💕
