San Diego, Texas - Ricardo Garza, 66 years, old passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his residence after a long illness. He was a former construction and oilfield worker for many years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles and the company of his family. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel D. Garza and Catarina "Katy" Garza, four brothers Noe, Melecio, Jesse and Ruben Garza, one sister Maria Antonia Trevino. He is survived by his two sons Luis (Maria Nunez) Garza and Ricardo (Maria Gonzalez) Garza, Jr. both of San Diego, Texas, two daughters Maria Antonia (Chris Munoz) Barrera of Alice, Texas and Maria Lisa Garza Gallegos of Corpus Christi, Texas, six brothers Manuel (Prude) Garza, Jr. of Alice, Texas, Julio (Olga) Garza, Roberto (Maggie) Garza, Joe L. (Marcy) Garza, Melecio Garza all of San Diego, Texas and Jose Angel (Janet) Garza of Hobe Sound, Florida, three sisters Rosie (Rogelio) Chapa, Gloria (Juan) Trevino both of San Diego, Texas and Katy (Ariff) Patwary of Orlando, Florida, eleven grandchildren,eleven great-grandchildren,numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will begin on Monday December 10, 2018 at 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. All services will conclude at the church. Mauro P.
