Rene Silvas

Realitos, Community ~ Rene Silvas, 58 years old passed away, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at his residence after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. Rene was a construction worker for many years and enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
 
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose and Paula Quiroz, paternal grandparents; Pablo and Manuela Silvas, his father; Amador P. Silvas, and one sister; Becky Garcia.
 
He is survived by his son, Pablo Rene Silvas, mother; Viola Silvas, three brothers; Jose Silvas, Roel Silvas, and Rudy Silvas, one sister; Rachel Ramirez, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Serving as active pallbearers will be his cousins.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Realitos with a Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass that same morning. Burial will follow at the Realitos Cemetery, in Realitos, Texas.

The family would also like to thank the nurses, aides, and staff at the Med-team of Hebbronville.
