Raquel P. Hernandez

San Diego, Texas: Raquel P. Hernandez 59, passed away on August 20, 2020 in a Corpus Christi Hospital after a short illness.  Raquel was a home health provider for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of the neighborhood watch and always enjoyed volunteering with her children at school activities. She is preceded in death by her husband Roel Hernandez Sr., and brother Geronimo Perez.  Surviving are her children Roel Hernandez Jr., Samantha Hernandez, Cassandra (Michael) Rhodes, Lisa Renee Hernandez, brothers Antonio Perez Jr., Rene Perez, Daniel Perez, sisters Selia Garza, Hilda Cepeda, one granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 8:00a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 9:00 a.m. that morning in the Chapel and followed by the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: Antonio Perez III, Paul Anthony Perez, Jason Cepeda, Jerrick Perez, Johnny Pacheco, Roel Pacheco. Mauro P.
