Raquel C. Perez

Benavides, Texas - Raquel C. Perez, passed Monday, July 13, 2020 in a Kingsville Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a provider for her stepmom. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Braulio and Bertha Gonzalez Cavazos, her Step-mother who raised her, Elvira Cavazos, her husband, Alejandro Perez, two sons, Alberto Perez and Nasario Perez, daughter-in-law, Ermelinda Perez, her brother, Ruben Cavazos and sister, Rebecca Riojas. Survivors include her two sons, Alejandro (Idolina) Perez of Houston, Texas and Leonel Perez of Roma, Texas, three daughters, Eufemia P. (Joey) Garza, Ninfa (Joe) Alaniz both of Benavides, Texas and Norma (Bobby) Cavazos of Kingsville, Texas, two sisters, Romanita Cantu of Houston, Texas and Elida Cavazos of Benavides, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 14, 2020  at 4p.m.- 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego. Burial will follow at the Benavides Cemetery in Benavides, Texas. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government mandates. We ask everyone to follow the guidelines by social distancing and wearing masks inside the Funeral Home. Mauro P.
