Ramon Roland Cantu

​San Diego, Texas - Ramon Roland Cantu, 46 years old passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Ramon was a native of San Diego, and a graduate of University of Northern Iowa with a master’s degree in science. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Fidencio Cantu and Rosa L. Cantu, and one nephew Noel Lazo Jr. He is survived by his mother Elida L. Cantu, one brother Noel (Lisa) Lazo, one sister Norma Lazo (Anthony) Robles, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Burial will follow on Thursday May 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at San Jose Burial Park, in San Antonio Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with the arrangements.
