Ramon L. Perez Sr.

Alice, Texas - Ramon L. Perez, Sr., 91 years old passed away June 6, 2018 in a San Diego Nursing Home after a short illness. He was a veteran having served in U.S. Army during WWII. He was a retired truck driver for Brown and Root Company for over 30 years. He loved to socialize and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ramon was also a very dedicated husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents Librado, Sr. and Antonia L. Perez, his wife Rebecca M. Perez, one sister Elodia Solis, one brother Librado Perez, Jr. and one brother-in-law Manuel Solis. He is survived by his son Ramon M. (Anna) Perez, Jr. of Alice, Texas, one brother Jose (Sandy) Perez of Brownsville, Texas, one sister Josefa (Laredo) Medellin of Alice, Texas, one sister-in-law Gracie Perez of Victoria, Texas, three grandchildren Antonio Ramon (Stephanie) Perez of Seguin, Texas, Anissa (Rick) Chavez of McAllen, Texas and Arianna Perez of Alice, Texas, two great-grandchildren Benicio Ramon Chavez and Samuel Andres Chavez. Visitations will begin on Monday June 11, 2018 at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Rosary at 8:45 a.m. that same morning with Funeral Mass to follow at 9 a.m. and burial will follow at Roberson-Collins Cemetery with Military Services conducted with the United Veterans Burial Association of Alice, Texas.Mauro P.
