Philip Perez

​San Diego, Texas - Philip Perez, 66 years old passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, in an Alice hospital after a sudden illness surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired rancher and welder. He enjoyed ranching, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is preceded by his parents, Lucio and Leonor Bergara Perez, and one sister, Sylvia Basquez. He is survived by his wife, Thelma T. Perez, three daughters, Angie Tolbort, Jackie Zapata, and Olivia Rodriguez, two brothers, Lucio Perez, Jr. and Frank (Paz) Perez, four sisters, Rachel Camareno, Liz (Joe) Yzaguirre, Frances (Juan) Torres and Jerreaca "Jerri" Perez, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 8 a.m. -10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m. that morning. All services will conclude after rosary.
