Paula S. Vega

San Diego, Tx – Paula S. Vega 95 years of age passed away on November 17, 2023, due to a short illness surrounded by her children. She was a retired SDISD Cafeteria worker of 20 years. She enjoyed dancing, music, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus Salazar Sr. and Luz Esmeralda Salazar, her husband; Desidoro C. Vega, one daughter; Elma Gonzalez, four sisters; Consuelo Gonzalez, Marta Garcia, Hortencia Castillo, and Petra Corona, three brothers; Domingo Salazar, Desidoro Salazar, and Jesus Salazar Jr. She is survived by one son; Roel S. (Jesusa) Vega, one daughter; Graciela V. (Ricardo) Salinas, one sister; Estella Galindo, seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and many numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Visitations will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2023, at 8 A.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 A.M. at
​Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel – San Diego, Tx. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church San Diego, Tx. Burial will follow at San Diego Cemetery.
