San Diego-Olivia V. Guerrero age 82, passed away May 31, 2021, in San Diego, Texas. She was born March 01, 1939 in San Diego, Texas to Jose and Vicenta Velasquez. Olivia had an enormous love for her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and spending time with friends. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting, cleaning her yard, and always lending a helping hand. She was a provider for 35 years before she retired and was proud of the relationships, she made along her way of providing care to all her clients. She left her traditions from her childhood to her granddaughters to continue. She will be dearly missed by all who were touched by her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Vicenta Velasquez, her husband Fernando Guerrero and her son Benito Guerrero, a sister Aurora M. Rivera, brothers Simon Moreno, Feliciano Sanchez, Olivia is survived by her two sons Fernando Guerrero Jr., Rene Guerrero, a grandson she raised as a son Rene Guerrero Jr (April) all of San Diego, Tx. Three daughters Belinda G. Perez of San Diego, Tx, Norma G. Nunez of San Diego, Tx, Esmeralda G. Robledo of Fort Worth, Tx, and a granddaughter she raised as a daughter Janice Renee (Rolando Reynolds Jr) of Alice, Tx. Three sisters Vicenta (late Reynaldo Vidal) of San Diego Tx, Guillermina (Esquivel Medina) of Freer Tx, Adela (late Benancio Espinoza) of Freer Tx. One brother Jesus G. Perez (Olga Castillo) of San Diego Tx.; 12 grandchildren Fernando Guerrero III, Belen Guerrero, Rene Guerrero Jr, (Amanda), Stacy (Aj Pena), Benito Perez, Lindsey Perez, Rhonda Perez, Martin F. Sanchez Jr., Christina Nunez, John Chapa, Cindy Juarez, Celina Guerrero; Great grandchildren she helped raised following her years of retirement: Rolando Reynolds III “Tres”, Austen R. Reynolds, Paisley N. Reynolds, Alyssa R. Guerrero, Niyeli O. Guerrero, Araceli E. Guerrero, Rene Guerrero III “Third”, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, she shared her love with. A special thanks to her granddaughter Christine Nunez for taking her to all her appointments during her battle with cancer, and her granddaughter Celina Guerrero for undertaking the responsibility of taking care of our grandmother during her final days. The Guerrero Family would like to thank River City Hospice & her nurse Jennifer Espinoza RN, for their prompt and outstanding service during our grandmothers’ final days. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons; Fernando Guerrero III “Fern”, Rene Guerrero Jr “short”, Benito Perez, John Chapa, Honorary pallbearers will be Rolando Reynolds III “Tres”, Austen R. Reynolds, Rene Guerrero III “Third”, Nycolas J. Guerrero Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary @ 9:30 a.m. the same morning. Funeral Mass will be celebrated @ 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at he San Diego Cemetery.

My condolences to my cousins on the passing of their mother. May she rest in peace. My father’s name on the obituary is not correct his birth name was Felix V. Sanchez not Feliciano
