Olivia Torres

​Premont, Texas - Olivia Torres, 78 years old passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at her residence after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed music, dancing, and Bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Olivia Canales Rodriguez, husband, Geronimo Torres, Sr., and three sisters, Elida Molina, Eva Mosquez, and Juanita R. Sanchez. She is survived by two sons, Geronimo (Gracie) Torres, Jr. and Rubelin Torres, and four daughters, Evangelina (Rogelio) Faragoza, Belia T. (Orlando) Morin, Maria Elena Garcia, and Berta Moya, brother, Roberto (Vicky) Rodriguez, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
 
Visitations will begin on July 1, 2022, from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego with a Prayer Service to be conducted at 10 a.m. followed by a burial at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas. Mauro P.
