Norma Briones Guajardo

​San Diego, Texas - Norma Briones Guajardo, 57 years old passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in a Corpus Christi Hospital. Norma was a 1983 graduate of San Diego High School, and a home provider. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Felipe Arredondo and Modesta Briones Arredondo, one  daughter Jessica Briones,  two brothers Felipe Arredondo Jr., and Cesar Chapa.

She is survived by her husband Guillermo "Willie" Rodriguez, three sons Gavino Arredondo, two grandchildren raised as her sons Jesus Alaniz, and Jose Antonio Ayala, mother-in-law Olga Rodriguez, one brother Emilio Chapa, two sisters Elsa (Gilbert) Bazan, Ida (Mando Salaiz Jr.) Arriaga, and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes Inc. entrusted with the arrangements.
