Natividad R. Gonzalez

Tecolote Community - Natividad R. Gonzalez, 86 years old passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence after a short illness. He was a native of Alice, Texas later moved to Tecolote Community. He was a former employee of Alice Roofing and Oscar Hernandez Roofing after many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.  He was preceded in death by his parents Adan and Carlota R. Gonzalez, his wife Emeteria S. Gonzalez, two sons Natividad Gonzalez, Jr. and Benito Gonzalez, Sr., three brothers Alexandro Soliz, Adan Gonzalez and Ernesto Gonzalez, four sisters Susie Gonzalez, Maria "Soilita" C. Casas, Esperanza Guerra and Pauline G. Cantu, one step-sister, Julia R. Rodriguez. He is survived by his son Mario (Diana) Gonzalez of Alice,Texas and raised as a son Rolando (Sylvia Gonzalez) Guerra, Jr. of Tecolote Community, Texas, his daughter Sylvia (Rolando, Sr.) Guerra of Tecolote Community, Texas and daughter-in-law Hilda Gonzalez of Alice, Texas, two sisters Manuela Perez and Eva Rodriguez both of Alice, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice, Texas ( 600 So. Wright Street, Alice, Texas) with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 29, 2018  at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Texas. Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.
