Melissa "Missy" Ann Alaniz

Melissa “Missy” Ann Alaniz, 48 years of age passed away on April 21, 2020 in a Corpus Christi Hospital. Missy attended School in San Diego and then enrolled in Cosmetology classes. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Missy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eliseo and Anita Salinas and paternal grandparents, Pablo and Margarita Laso.  Missy is survived by her husband Arturo S. Alaniz, Jr., son Arturo Alaniz III,  daughters Marissa Alaniz, and Alyson Alaniz, her Father Cristobal Eloy Laso and Mother Maria Anna Gonzalez,  brother Cristobal Eloy (Eloysisto) Laso Jr., and numerous half-brothers, half- sister Maricela Trigo, and grandchildren, Kevin L. Gamez, Jesus Manuel Alaniz, Carlos Leon Gamez, James D. Gamez, Amy L. Gamez, Sophie L. Gamez,  Numerous other relatives.   
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic only 10 people at a time will be allowed into the Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 8:30 am. till 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. that same morning but will be limited to family only.
