Melba P. Sendejo

​San Diego, Texas - Melba P. Sendejo, 81 years old passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, in a San Diego Nursing Home after a short illness surrounded by her loving family. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crafts & beads, dancing, and singing, and loved all her nieces and nephews together with her brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents Antonio E. Perez and Simona Romero Perez, her husband Santos Sendejo, three brothers, Aniceto Perez, Enrique Hughes, and Roberto Perez, and one sister Hortencia Esparza. Survivors include two brothers, Antonio P. (Margarita) Perez, Jr., and Agustin P. Perez, three sisters, Ofilia P. (Domingo) Gonzalez, Susana P. (Ruben) Rangel, and Simona P. (Ismael) Garza, numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. the same morning. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
