Maria Robles Vela

​Maria Robles Vela 94 years of age passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at her residence in Alice, Texas.  Maria was a Homemaker and was a loving Mother, Grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.  She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Vela Sr., Son in law Raul Villagran. Surviving are her six children Joe (Gloria) Vela, Jr., Juan (Bonnie) Vela, Consuelo Villagran, Guadalupe (Eluterio) Barrera, Maria (Juan) Hernandez, and Yolanda (Nat) Snell,  28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic only 10 people at a time will be allowed into the Funeral Home.  Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice, Texas and will be limited to family only.  Chapel Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. that same day, followed by the interment at the New Collins Cemetery.  Mauro P.
