Alice, Texas: Maria " Mary" Resendez Ramirez Dec. 27, 1954  - Nov 21, 2020. "Unable are the loved loves to die for love is immortality." Mary was a beautiful and amazing woman that we got to call wife, mother, grandma or sister. She was a true fighter and she spent the last two years fighting the biggest fight of her life with everything she had. Her fight ended Saturday , November 21, 2020. She was 65 years old. She was born December 27, 1954 to Abraham and Odilia Resendez in Alice, Texas. She was charismatic, creative and had a smile that would light up a room. It was family first for her and she showed that everyday of her life. Her love was felt, not by words, but by the warmth of her actions. We will miss you everyday of our lives. Preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Odilia Resendez, and her in-laws  Arnoldo and Diana L. Ramirez, one brother Oscar Resendez. She leaves behind her husband A.J. Ramirez, three children Lauralee (Adrian) Vasquez, Joseph Michael (Charlene) Garza, and Zachary Nathan Garza, three step children Bryan (Jennifur) Ramirez, Katrina (Katie) Ramirez, and Reba (Arnold) Ramirez, seven grandchildren Daniella Nicole Vasquez, Dillion Pete Vasquez, Devin Joseph Garza, Devynae Jolene Garza, Zoey Nicole Garza, and Arnoldo Beltran III, six brothers and sisters Angel (Minnie) Resendez, Adrian (Emily) Resendez, Ester (Edward) Ramirez, Nelda (Laura) Canales, and Oneida (Horacio) Trevino and numerous nieces and nephews. Active Pallbearers: Oscar Resendez, Abraham Resendez, Michael Resendez, Daniel Resendez, Richard Robert Resendez, Richard Olivares, Devin Garza.  Visitation will be held at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice with a Rosary and Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph  Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the Church. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines. We ask to please wear a mask and social distance at the Funeral Home. ​
