Maria A. Hernandez

​​San Diego, Texas: Maria A. Hernandez, 83 years of age, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at her residence. She was a retired LVN for La Hacienda Nursing home for 35 years and 5 years with Home Health. She was an avid caregiver for the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Margarita Aguayo, her husband, Jose A. Hernandez, a daughter, Rosa Margarita Ramos, and sister, Irene Aguayo Jimenez. She is survived by her two sons, Jose A. (Idalia) Hernandez Jr., and John Eric (Aurora) Ramos, three daughters, Cynthia R. Hernandez, Irene M. (Tony Garza) Olivares, and Evangelina (Rodolfo) Torres, one brother, Teodoro (Norma) Aguayo, two sisters, Maria Aguayo and Angelica Aguayo, 12 grandchildren, Shaun Joseph Anthony Hernandez, Freddie Nunez Jr., Jesus (Isela) Olivares Jr., Steven Olivares, Marc Olivares, John Eric Ramos Jr., Blaze Alexander Ramos, Maddeline Ramos, Victoria Williams, Cori Williams, Eliza Torres, and Emma Torres. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 5pm at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Services will conclude after rosary. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with the arrangements. We ask to continue to wear a mask at the Funeral Home.
