Manuela Aurora R. Briones

​San Diego, Texas – Manuela Aurora R. Briones, 91 years old passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, suddenly at her residence. Manuela was a retired cafeteria cook for SDISD, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her daughter dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Ismael Rangel and Valeria Valerio, her husband Francisco "Pancho" Briones, and one son Natividad Briones. She is survived by her son Genero (Idalia) Briones, and daughter Gloria V. Briones, including her sister Beatrice Luna, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

​Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Diego Cemetery, San Diego Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes Inc. entrusted with arrangements.
