![]() Manuel Perez Molina, 85, of Alice, Texas, passed away of natural causes on November 12, 2021. Manuel was born in Mindieta (Bess, Texas) on June 16, 1936, and lived in Alice, Texas for the past 53 years. He was the cherished husband of Edna G. Molina for 61 years; devoted son and brother; and beloved uncle to many nephews and nieces. With special mention to Ramon Vela, III and his wife Gloria Anna for their devotion and kindness. He was self-employed as an air conditioning repairman for the last 15 years of his working life, following his work with Airko, City Sheet Metal, and Foster Electric. He was known for his skills as a fixer upper around the ranch, house and yard, where he was always working on a project or improvement and taking care of his animals. He was a devout Catholic, with a strong, enduring love of his God and family. He was quiet and reserved at times but loved to tease his family. Few family members escaped his loving and good-natured teasing, and all were better and happier for it. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mauricio and Enemencia Molina, and brothers and sisters Ernesto Molina, Sr., Elodia Cantu and Elia Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Edna; brothers and sisters Mauricio Molina, Jr. from California, Julia Gonzales from Alice, Regino Molina, Sr. and Maria Vela from San Diego Rosary will be recited on December 4, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Texas followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial services will follow at the San Diego, Texas cemetery.
