Luisa S. Arellano

Premont, Texas- Luisa S. Arellano, 88 years old passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at her residence after a long illness. She was a native of Rancho Salas, was an active member in her church Templo Monte de Olivar. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister aunt, friend and will be sadly missed by all her knew her.  Preceded in death by her parents, Jacobo Silvas and Eudarda Benavides Silvas, her 3 sons, Luis Alberto, Juan S, Jose Francisco “Frank” Arellano, 3 brothers, Jorge Silvas, Margarito Silvas and Isaac Silvas, and 1 sister, Guadalupe Casas. She is survived by her 4 sons, Arturo (Gicelda) Arellano, Jr., Premont, Texas, Mario (Linda) Arellano, Rivera, Texas, Omar (Melissa) Arellano, Premont, Texas, and Javier Arellano, Corpus Christi, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. 

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic we will be following all CDC and Government mandates and ask each guest to do as well.

Visitation will begin on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home- Alice 600 So. Wright St. with a Prayer Service the same morning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Premont Cemetery, Premont, Texas
