Lucinda R. Sendejo, 97 years old passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a former Constable in Duval County in place of her deceased husband (Pedro R. "Cuate" Sendejo) to complete his term. She enjoyed time with her family, sewing etc. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, Cristobal and Dominga Robles Rodriguez, her husband, Pedro R. Sendejo, four brothers and 5 sisters, two daughters in law, Maria Elena P. Sendejo and Maria Elena G. Sendejo, one son-in-law, Amadeo Deleon and two great-grandsons, Adrian Ordonez & Nicholas Rodriguez. Survivors include her four sons, Luis R. Sendejo Sr., Pedro R." Pete" (Vicki) Sendejo Jr., Teodoro Sendejo and Mario R. (Nora E.) Sendejo, two daughters, Barbara (Narciso) Gonzalez, Virginia (Robert) De Los Santos, Yvonne "Bonnie" Pena, raised as a daughter, one brother, Julian (Magdalena) Rodriguez, one sister, Genoveva Garza (late Pedro), 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 8 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. All Services will conclude at the cemetery. All services will be for family ONLY. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines. We ask to please wear a mask and social distance at the Funeral Home and church. Mauro P.
