Lisa Sandoval

Alice, Texas - Lisa Sandoval, 43 years old passed Monday, October 18, 2021, in a Houston hospital after a short illness. Lisa enjoyed listening to music, especially Selena's music, she was her #1 Fan. She enjoyed dancing and going to the community centers in Alice and loved to be around her friends. She loved spending as much time with her mother. Lisa was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father Homero R. Sandoval, two brothers Robert and Norman Vela. She is survived by her mother Ercilia S. Gutierrez, her brother Norberto O. (Viola) Vela, Jr., and sister Yvette (Louis) Delgado, several nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 8 a.m. - 12 noon at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home-Alice. A Prayer Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. at Stonegate Baptist Church, 1604 South Texas Blvd., Alice, Texas followed by a Funeral Service.  Burial New Collins Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: Bobby Vela, Joseph Vela, Louis Delgado Jr., Gabriel Delgado, Justin Rodriguez, and Bobby Salinas.
