Linda J. Castillo

Linda J. Castillo, 63 years of age, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, in a Corpus Christi hospital surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. Linda was a devoted loving mother, and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gambling, her favorite music artist Pitbull, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and the rest of her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Maria Jasso. Her husband, Evaristo R. Castillo, Sr., one brother, Miguel M. Jasso, and one sister, Rafaela J. Alaniz.

Survivors include her two sons, Evaristo R. Castillo, Jr., and Trinidad J. (Vickie) Castillo, one daughter, Lisa (Michelle) Castillo, and two brothers, Uvaldo (Amelia) Jasso, and Trinidad (Paula) Jasso. Several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: James John Tigerina, Jabob Matthew Tigerina, Trino Flores III, Miguel Jasso Jr., Alberto Barrientes Jr., Rafael Campuzano, Victor Ramirez, Andres Paez, and Emilio T. Jasso.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. located at 600 South Wright St. Alice, TX.  A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
