Lillian M. Alaniz

San Diego, Texas - Lillian M. Alaniz, 75 years old passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a long illness. She was a housewife. Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Morgan and Artemia Barrera, her husband, Tomas F. Alaniz, one daughter, Betty Cantu and one son, Jose Alfredo Alaniz. She is survived by two sons, Tomas Alaniz, Jr and Michael Lee (Amy) Alaniz, three daughters, Annabell (Jose Jimenez) Casso, Nancy (Adolfo) Sanchez and Priscilla Alaniz, one sister, Esmeralda Lubiniecki, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. -9:30 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines.
