Jose Luis Castillo Jr.

San Diego, Tx - Jose Luis Castillo Jr, Age 30, passed away peacefully after a lifelong Illness on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Alice Christus Spohn Hospital. He was born in Corpus Christi, Tx on February 15, 1993 & raised in San Diego, Texas to his parents Jose Luis Castillo & Graciela Marie Galvan. Jose enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his friends. He was very humorous and outgoing with his personality lighting up the room. Jose was very tough, but lighthearted and lovable to those around him. He had an unconditional love for his mother, enjoyed projects with his father, and drawing art. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.  He was proceeded in death by his Brother Luis Castillo, Paternal Grandmother Maria Inez Castillo. Maternal grandparents Ruben Baldemar Galvan & Zulema Flores Galvan. Jose was Survived by his Partner of 9 years Sara Diane Carrillo of San Diego, Texas. One Son Rhyen Lee Castillo (age 10)  His Siblings: Clarissa (Edward) Garza of Alice, Texas. Kayla Marie Castillo of Corpus Christi, Texas. Geraldine Miranda Chapa of Alice, Texas. Grandparents: Luis C. Castillo Jr. With numerous Nieces (8), Nephews (2), aunts, and uncles.

​Visitations will be held on Monday July 31, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 1:00 P.M. Burial San Diego Cemetery.
