Jose "Joe" Rosbel Gonzalez

​Alice, Texas Jose “Joe” Rosbel Gonzalez 51 years of age passed away on October 13, 2019 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on May 18, 2018. Joe was a supervisor and worked for several oilfield companies, Coil Tubing Services, Forbes Energy, Key Energy, and Schlumberger. At the time of his accident he was working for C & J Energy Services out of Robstown. Joe loved to Barbecue, fish, spend quality time with his family and loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was also a member of the Country Ghost Riders. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and dedicated family man. He is preceded in death by his son Jose R. Gonzalez Jr., Survivors include his wife Lizette Martinez-Gonzalez, sons Roberto Torres Jr, Adam Gonzalez, daughters Josette Gonzalez, Joselynn Gonzalez, Heather Gonzalez, father Rosbel Gonzalez, mother Susana Beatriz Rodriguez, sister Maria Del Carmen (Bill) Johns, five grandchildren. His best friends Orlando Garza, Cesar Bocanegra, John Flores, Dwayne Heathcock, David Guerra. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 9 :00 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. that morning. Services will conclude after the Rosary. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements.
