Jose Concepcion Salinas

​San Diego, Texas - Jose Concepcion Salinas, 45 years old passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was a Graduate of San Diego High School class of 1993. He worked in the oilfield industry for several years. He enjoyed quality time with his family and friends. Barbecuing and always helping others was his favorite pastime. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Larry Salinas, and nephew Ricky Salinas. Survivors include his Father and Mother Concepcion "Chon" and Teresa Salinas, sister Sally (Isauro) Maldonado Jr., two nieces Dalilah Maldonado, and DeeAndra Maldonado, and a nephew Devyn Maldonado. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 beginning at 4pm with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that same evening at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery No.2 Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines. We ask to please wear a mask and social distance at the Funeral Home, Church and Cemetery.
