Jesus G. Salaiz, Jr.

San Diego- Jesus G. Salaiz, Jr. 72 years of age passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in a Corpus Christi hospital.  He was a rancher.  He enjoyed hunting and loved to be around his kids. Jesus was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.  Preceded in death by his parents, Mercedes Garza Salaiz, Jesus S. Salaiz, Sr., one son, Kelvin King, brother, Ruben G. Salaiz, one niece Aimee L. De Hoyos, and one nephew, Devin M. Castillo. Survivors include Ex-Wife, Idalia Vidal Salaiz, San Diego, Tx., five sons, Jesus (Kim) Salaiz, III., San Diego, Tx., Roman (Elsa) Salaiz, Alice, Tx., Kevin King, Falfurrias, Tx., Rene Rodriguez, San Diego, Tx., Elias Salaiz, Corpus Christi, Tx., three daughters, Ludy (Javier) Gonzalez, Veronica (Adam) Perez, both of Alice, Tx., and Joann Garcia, San Diego, Tx. one brother, Hector G. Salaiz, San Diego, Tx., two sisters, Celina S. (Amado R. ) Trevino and Olga S. (Oscar, Jr.) Garza, both of San Diego, Tx., 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Active Pallbearers: Javier Gonzalez, Jr., Victor Cariaga, Richard Cantu, Michael Hernandez, Valerie J. Garcia, and Javier Gonzalez. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home-San Diego. Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery.  Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes Inc. in charge of arrangements.
