Irma Carreño Perez

​Alice, Texas - Irma Carreño Perez, 80 years old passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 in an Alice hospital after a short illness.She was a retired home provider. Irma was a lovely daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Federico Perez Carreño and Sacramento Alvarez Carreño, her husband, Jose L. Perez, one brother, Hermilo Carreño, two sister-in-laws, Lupita Ibanez Carreño and Maria Delia Carreño. She is survived by two brothers, Juan Federico "Fred" Carreño, Jr. and her twin brother, George A. (Julie) Carreño both of Alice, Texas, Special niece and nephew her caregivers, Christine and Alfred Ochoa of Alice, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 9, 2019 with a Rosary at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to St. Joseph Catholic School.
