Irma A. Sanchez

​Alice, Texas - Irma A. Sanchez, 84 years old passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, in a hospital in Corpus Christi after a short illness. Irma earned her bachelor’s degree in Education and was a former Teacher at Robstown ISD, former Teacher’s aide at Mary R. Garcia elementary school she was also an employee of Community Action in Alice, Texas. She was preceded in death by her three sons, Joey Sanchez, Alberto Sanchez, and Javier Sanchez. She is survived by her husband, Jose A. Sanchez, one son Johnny (Norma) Sanchez, two daughters Irma (Andre) Arredondo, Teresa (Tony) Solis, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, with a Funeral Mass to follow all services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a burial to follow at New Collins Cemetery.

​Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we ask that everyone continue to wear a mask and social distance inside the church, and at the cemetery.
