San Diego, Texas - Idalia H. Garcia, 91 years old passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 in an Alice Nursing Home after a long illness. She was homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugenio,Jr. and Lucinda H. Hinojosa, her husband Bruno Garcia, Sr., one daughter Bernadette Hinojosa, four brothers Octavio Hinojosa, Eugenio Guadalupe Hinojosa, Arnoldo Hinojosa I, Arnoldo Hinojosa II, five sisters Leonor H. Garcia, Elida H. Perez, Hilda H. Hinojosa, Santos H. Gonzalez and Lydia H. Centeno. She is survived by two sons J.M. (Mary Lou) Garcia of Grand Praire, Texas and Bruno (Marie) Garcia, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, one daughter Gloria Hinojosa of Alice, Texas, one sister Alma Lopez of Montclair, California, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitations will begin on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego. Vigil of the deceased with  a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. that same evening, officiated by her nephew, Fr. P. Nolasco Hinojosa, Jr.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church officiated by her nephew, Fr. P. Nolasco, Jr.. Burial will follow at San Diego Cemetery in San Diego. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you be consoled by the knowledge that she is now in the loving arms of our Lord.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this difficult time in your lives. Those who are sleeping in death ( John 11:11) God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences.
