Ida R. Luera

San Diego- Ida R. Luera 78 years of age passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 in a Corpus Christi hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was a homemaker. She enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her loving family. Ida will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Adelaido Longoria and Baudelia Prezas Longoria, her husband, Igancio S. Luera, Sr.,one infant grandson, Nathaniel Luera, one brother, Luis Angel Longoria and one sister, Anita L. Rodriguez.  She is survived by her five sons, Joe (Beatrice Garcia) Lozano, Arnold (Sonia) Lozano, Rafael Lozano, Ignacio S. (Amadita) Luera, Jr. and Ricardo (Yvette) Luera, one daughter, Lucia (Fred Barber) Luera, two brothers, Adelaido "Eddie" (Berta) Longoria, and Ruperto Longoria, five sisters, Blasa Payam, Viola (Fabian) Gonzalez, Baudelia Rodriguez, Margarita Trevino and Esmeralda Maldonado, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Active Pallbearers, Arnold Lozano, Jr., Isaac Luera, Carlos Lozano, Felipe Lozano, Jacob Luera, Elias Luera, Jose Laso and Leanne Laso. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Chapel in San Diego followed by a Funeral Service.  Burial San Diego Cemetery #2. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic we ask that you wear a mask at the Funeral Home and at the cemetery.  Mauro P.
