Hector Mario Saenz

​San Diego, Texas - Hector Mario Saenz, 73 years old, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, with injuries sustained from an Auto- Pedestrian accident. He was a retired oilfield operator for many years. Hector Mario enjoyed hunting, fishing, and rooster fights. The love of his life was his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel and Elma Saenz, and his brother Cesar Xavier Saenz. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia R. Saenz, and his three sons, Hilario Saenz, Hector Mario Saenz, Jr., and Cesar Jose Saenz; one sister, Mary Lou Vera; six grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 8 a.m.-10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego, with a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m. followed by burial at the Saenz Cemetery in Concepcion Community.
