Guadalupe R. Hernandez

Alice, Texas - Guadalupe R. Hernandez, 79 years old passed Wednesday July 4, 2018 at her daughters residence after a long illness. She was a homemaker. Guadalupe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Felipa C. Rios, her husband Juventino Hernandez, one brother Juan Rios, two sisters Martha Duran and Rosie Gutierrez. She is survived by her  two daughters Luz Dalia (Luis) Manrique of Alice, Texas and Nancy Mendoza of Mesquite, Texas, two brothers Jaime (Graciela) Rios of Sabinas, Mexico and Gerardo (Rosa Lilia) Rios of Laredo, Texas, three sisters Amalia (Juan) Lozano,  Josefa Garcia both of Sabinas, Mexico and Blanca (Juan) Gonzalez of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, five grandchildren Andrew Lee Manrique, Emily Nicole Manrique, Ruben Mendoza, Arturo Mendoza and Darlene Mendoza, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will begin on Monday July 9, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice with a Rosary at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice. Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery in Alice. Mauro P.
