Guadalupe G. Lleverino

​Benavides, Texas - Guadalupe G. Lleverino, 82 years old passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence. She worked as a teacher's aide for the Catholic Schools for 30 years. She was a homemaker and a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Guadalupe loved God above all and loved the Blessed Mother and was always happy. She loved everyone she knew and met. She will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents Narciso Gonzalez and Maria Teresa Escobedo Gonzalez, step-mother Clementina Nieto, three brothers Efren, Guillermo and Adrian Gonzalez. She is survived by her husband Raymundo Lleverino, Jr. of Benavides, Texas, three sons Bernardo (Sherri) Lleverino of Grinnel, Iowa, Raymundo (Lara) Lleverino of Aledo, Texas and Rodrigo (Melanie) Lleverino of Marion, Texas, one daughter Teresita (Mark) Pendleton of Benavides,Texas, one brother Juan Gonzalez of Mexico, three sisters Ma del Pilar Gonzalez, Ma del Carmen Gonzalez and Ma del Lourdes Gonzalez all of Monterrey, Mexico, eighteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday January 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church located at 603 E Fifth St., Alice, Texas. Burial will follow at Benavides Cemetery in Benavides, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. entrusted with arrangements.
