Filiberto "Phillip" Uribe

Filiberto "Phillip" Uribe 54 years of age passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in an Alice hospital.  He worked for Lightning Fluids Services in Alice, Texas for 8 years.  Filiberto enjoyed barbequing and spending time with family and friends.  He was a loving father to his only son Dante.  Preceded in death by his father, Hilario Uribe, Sr. paternal grandparents, Euquerio and Matilde Uribe, Uncle, A.D. Uribe, and cousin Steven "Zofo" Garcia. Survivors include his son Phillip Dante Uribe, Alice, Texas, his mother, Ellen La Fountain, Alice, Texas, one brother, Hilario Jr. (Letty) Uribe, Alice, Texas, one sister, Emilia Uribe, San Antonio, Texas, nephews, Andy and Adam Uribe, two aunts, Anita Garcia of Alice and Lydia Uribe Hurst, Texas, and numerous special cousins.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home of Alice 600 So. Wright St. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.  Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. in charge of arrangements.  "Special Thanks to Lightning Fluids Service"
