San Diego, Texas: Enrique E. Perez, 76 years of age, passed away on Sept. 5, 2018. He was an Army Veteran serving his Country from 1960 - 1963.  Worked for the Corpus Christi Army Depot for many years and for the Napa store in San Diego. Enrique was the first state certified Jailer for the Duval County Sheriffs Dept. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He is preceded in death by his parents Enrique B. Perez and Anita Vega, and one brother Enrique Perez.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years Carlotta S. Perez of San Diego, his daughter Anita G. Anguiano and his son in law Rupert Anguiano of Hutto, Texas, two sons Adrian T. (Sylviana) Perez of San Diego, and Richard P. (Diana) Perez of Granada Hills, California. Three brothers Roel (Gloria) Perez, Omar (Sarita) Perez, Eloy Perez all of San Diego, three sisters Alma (Abel) Valdez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Angie (Robert) Galle of Beeville, Texas, Anna Norma (Homer) Zuniga of El Paso, Texas, six grandchildren Alyssa Anguiano, Aric Anguiano, Adrian T. Perez Jr., Tabitha Rodriguez, Zachary Perez and Daniel Perez. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church. Active Pallbearers: Rupert Anguiano, Rolando Perez, Kelly Perez, Ricky Vela, Tony Perez, Robert Perez, Dennis Hinojosa and Roel Vela. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements.
