Eluterio Canales

​Realitos, Texas - Eluterio Canales, 92 years old passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired farmer and construction worker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo, and Maria Carrillo Canales, one daughter "La Bebe" Canales and all his siblings. He is survived by his wife of 15 years of marriage, Reyes V. Canales, five sons, Eluterio (Betty) Canales, Joe Luis (Terre) Canales, Alfred Canales, Jesse Canales, and Raymond Canales, four daughters, Rosemary (Tony) Ward, Cynthia Canales, Patricia Canales and Lasha Rock, 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, numerous  great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Realitos, Texas and Funeral Mass to follow. Burial Realitos Cemetery, Realitos, Texas. Active Pallbearers: Martin Villarreal, Raymond Canales, Austin Canales, Jessie Canales, Luis Canales, and Joe Canales. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we will follow all CDC and Government guidelines.
