Eladio B. Gomez Sr.

​San Diego, Texas ~ Eladio B. Gomez Sr., passed away on June 26, 2022,  in an Alice Hospital at the age of 72. Eladio worked as a Mechanic in Freer, Texas in his younger years. He also worked in the Oilfield Industry for many years. His hobbies were working on woodwork projects, gardening, music, and dancing. He loved his family and family gatherings.   

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Porfiria Gomez, a son, Eladio Gomez Jr, Brother, Enrique B. Gomez, and  Sister, Leticia B. Gomez. He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Raul) Rios, Brother, Jose (Nelda) Gomez, three sisters, Victoria G. (Andres L.) Espinoza, Guadalupe B. Ramos, Maria Luisa (Felipe) Alvarez, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel with a Prayer Service at 11:00 am. that morning.  Burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery, San Diego, Texas. Pastor Sunny from Primera Iglesia Bautista of San Diego, Texas officiating the services.  Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes are entrusted with the arrangements.
