San Diego, Texas - Donna Clendennen Stansell, 82 passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Ima Clendennen, her sisters Ruth and Nell, and her brother Barney. Two daughter's Kathy and Kim, and two grandson's Jeremy and Johnathon. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Charles T. Stansell III, sons Chuck (Pat) Stansell, Mike (Phyllis) Stansell, and daughter Lisa Fulcher. She had 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and she also had two honorary son's Tommy (Lynn) Bunting, Jason (Angie) West, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donna worked as a switchboard operator at Southwestern Bell for years and worked at different dealerships doing title work. She would cut hair in the kitchen, and make rugs in the garage. She drove a garbage truck, pulled coffee routes, and was in charge of too many caterings to count. She did all this while raising four children she loved dearly. She loved to hunt, fish, and work in the garden, but the two things she loved the most were singing, and our father. Visitations will begin on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Burial at San Diego Cemetery. A Reception will be held back at the Funeral Home following the burial. I am so saddened at the loss of my dear friend Donna. We were buddies in High School and she sang at my wedding in 1959.
